I Missed a Big Book Birthday

In March of 2016, I became an author for the first time.

Coffeehouse Contemplative: Spiritual Direction for the Everyday was published that year by Noesis Press, an imprint of The Davies Group, Publishers.

The book explores ways to explore the spiritual whether one is part of a formal faith tradition or community, has left such things behind, or is wondering how to begin.

It encourages those who are a part of a faith community to try out spiritual practices beyond what they’re used to.

It introduces the concept of spiritual direction, and the thinking of Ignatius of Loyola and Karl Rahner.

I think it still holds up well, and its themes are as important as ever.
