- I Me Mine by George Harrison – A decent introduction to Harrison’s life and career. I would have liked a little more of his voice and less of the biographer’s.
- The Big Sea by Langston Hughes – Hughes’ first memoir reminded me of Kerouac’s On the Road, in a good way.
- The Once and Future Witch Hunt by Alice Markham-Cantor – The author searches for information on an ancestor who was killed in the Salem Witch Trials, and provides a history of those events. Very interesting read.
- Anaphora by Scott Cairns – Deep reflective poems about love, life, and faith.
Movies
- Backrooms – People stumble onto a warped version of reality. Enjoyably creepy and surreal.
- The Mandalorian and Grogu – A fun action-packed adventure.
- Is God Is – A gripping story of family and revenge.
TV Shows
- The Walking Dead: Dead City – Season 3 continued to see Negan and Maggie’s relationship take unforeseen turns toward friendship/partnership. I’ve enjoyed the portrayal of NYC during this series.
