A 2023 Writing Wrap-Up

This is the end of my second year on WordPress. I continue to be pleased with this approach to maintaining a website and blog. Every so often I consider switching back to how I used to do things, but then I remember how tired that approach made me. So I’m here to stay!

Both of my self-published books, originally released in electronic form only, got paperback editions this year. I even created my own imprint for it.

My one qualm is that Amazon seems to be having an issue making them available. I didn’t use their publishing service, and they’re probably less inclined to help people like me.

Fortunately, you can get both paperback versions on Barnes and Noble without any trouble: here’s No Perfect Time and here’s Four Weeks.

My other big writing development was that I signed an agreement with The Pilgrim Press for my next book, The Unintentional Interim. No definitive timeline yet, but I’m not concerned.

Here are what I consider my best blog posts from 2023:

This Horse Is Very Much Dead, But Let’s Keep Beating It Anyway
Failing Church Syndrome
Your Pastor Is Not a Scapegoat
The Actual Doing of the Thing
Suffering on the Mats
I’m Really Struggling with Forgiveness Right Now
Even If the Bag Does Not Inflate

Thanks for reading this year.
