I published my debut novel, Mirrobius, in 2024. It’s a sci-fi thriller about a team of agents with special powers who need to investigate some mysterious events at the biggest tech company on Earth and beyond.
I’d better go ahead and give you the entire synopsis again:
In the near future, the world has experienced several significant changes. The Temzen Corporation’s many technological innovations have vastly improved and expanded communication, infrastructure, entertainment, medical procedures, space travel, and so much more.
Meanwhile, police agencies have been replaced by a new organization known as The Defenders, a special force of individuals who each wear a magical Pistos Gem on their chest that bestows each of them a unique ability for keeping the peace.
As The Defenders investigate a series of mysterious abductions, they discover that Agent Zane Sarian’s brother Aron–a Temzen employee–is counted among the missing. As these users of tech and magic cross paths, Zane and his team discover that all is not as it seems inside the walls of his brother’s workplace. Their case becomes even more dangerous as they encounter several outsiders with deadly agendas of their own.
Can Zane and the Defenders find those who have disappeared? Will the Temzen Corporation provide help or additional obstacles along the way?
Sounds great, right? If you haven’t read it yet, you definitely should. I’m as proud of this book as I could be, I believe that it’s a good story, and I think that fans of this genre would like it.
And now, here’s another reason for you to finally pick it up: the sequel is coming.
Yes: Zane, Lana, and the rest of the team return to take on an entirely new threat.
I started writing the manuscript near the beginning of this year, with pauses along the way to edit and promote The Unintentional Interim, as well as general life events and responsibilities that took precedence. I’m still in the editing phase at this point, but my goal is to publish the first quarter of next year.
If I’d been ambitious enough, I would have tried to get it out before the holidays so that everyone could buy it for each other as gifts. Since that won’t happen, you can instead give everyone Mirrobius (including yourself if you still haven’t read it) to prepare for Book 2’s arrival.
I’ll share much more after the holidays. In the meantime, enjoy all my other books (especially Mirrobius). And thanks for reading.
